I Am My Own CEO

Success is never owned. It is rented. And the rent is due every day.

I may be starting my journey as Founder/CEO of Executive Clarity Solutions, but did you know that you are already a CEO?

You are currently, yes, today, the CEO of your own life. In an article I recently read, the author suggested actions you should take as your own CEO.

1. Daily Audit review of your schedule and activities:

  • What should you keep doing?

  • What should you stop doing?

  • What should you start doing?

Course correct as needed.

2. Create a 5-year plan.

  • What are your long-term goals?

  • What are your short-term goals?

  • What would you like to accomplish in 6 months?

Divide your plan into yearly, monthly, and daily goals. Keep a journal to celebrate your progress.

3. Find your purpose.

  • What is the ‘why’ of what you are doing?

  • What brings you joy and energy?

  • What do you want your legacy to be?

Align your actions with your purpose and passion.

4. Cultivate self-awareness.

  • You must know yourself to grow yourself ~ John C. Maxwell.

  • Be mindful of your self-talk.

  • Pay attention to your passions!

Practice self-reflection.

5. Surround yourself with positive influences.

  • Surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you.

  • Join groups or communities aligned with your goals.

  • Encourage others daily!

Remember, we make our choices based on the voice we hear. Be intentional about what you allow yourself to listen to.

6. Prioritize your health.

  • Eat healthy meals.

  • Include daily physical activity.

  • Commit to a regular sleep schedule (6-8 hours minimum)

  • Mental wellness

You can only fulfill your purpose if you're taking care of yourself.

Remember, you're the CEO of your life. Focus on making decisions that will move you forward.
